F Celine Fineman, enthusiastic, serial entrepreneur, frustrated by the crash and burn nature of her love life. Raised in a wealthy suburb of Chicago, now living on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Early 30s
M Lichen Spence-Andreessen, highly sensitive, self-aware guy, possesses a sense of humor, works for a socially conscious hedge fund. Early 30s.
M Barry, Celine’s father, an aging mogul of bathroom porcelain, worships his daughter, a compensation for her emotionally absent, drug-addicted mother. Barry and Celine’s boundary-challenged father-daughter relationship chafes at his new marriage. Mid 60s.
F Dianne, newly married to Barry, a younger successful African-American, an unstoppable business woman totally in love with Barry. Mid 40s
