Internships
Technical/Theater Production (4 positions)
Working closely with the Technical Director, Production Manager and designers, these interns maintain facilities, help build scenery, load shows, hang and focus lights and support sound design. Interns are often called on to assist in all areas of production including props, tech of shows, video/projections, painting, and scenery.
Stage Management (2 positions)
These interns function as Assistant Stage Managers and aide in rehearsals and the running of shows under an Equity Stage Manager’s supervision. Shows are produced at the Julie Harris Stage, the Harbor Stage and WHAT For Kids tent.
Marketing/Development/Box Office (2 positions)
Become an integral part of an exciting and fast paced administrative office and work alongside senior staff on a variety of projects. Marketing interns gain valuable experience in audience development strategy and running day to day operations. The Development intern works on all aspects of fundraising for the theater. Box Office interns gain practical experience in the day-to-day operations of a computerized box office and assist in the sale and processing of tickets and subscriptions. All administrative interns support Box Office and House Management as needed.
