2010 Cape Cod Filmmaker Takeover

Submission Deadline: February 6, 2010

Festival: March 6 & 7, 2010


Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater is accepting submissions for the 2010 Cape Cod Filmmaker Takeover, a juried festival of Cape Cod filmmaker’s films. The festival - WHAT’s third – is scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2010. Awards will be given for best short, documentary, feature and student films.

The Grand Prize Winner will be shown at the 2010 Provincetown International Film Festival, which is a co-sponsor of the event.


Last year’s winner, Casey Clark’s, Kink, Inc., was a winner of PIFF’s Best Short award!

Interested filmmakers who have shot films on Cape Cod, who live on Cape Cod or who are associated with the Cape in some way should send their films (in DVD format) to:

Submission Guidelines

Submissions must be postmarked by February 6th. Each submission should include: DVD of film; submission category (documentary, short, feature, student); filmmaker biography (90 words or less); film blurb (30 words or less); one still from the film (jpg; gif; etc.) and filmmaker contact information (name, address, email, phone.) Schedule will be announced by February 15, 2010.
