Includes a dedicated tour group leader, as well as local guides in each city. Plus plenty of optional activities and free time for exploring or relaxing on your own.
Highlights include: a truffle hunt, optional oyster tasting, winery visit and tasting/sampling, visits to artist galleries and a traditional dance performance, ferry visit to an island or two on the Dalmatian Coast, a visit to Plitvice Lakes (also a World Heritage site), and extraordinary historical sites, including Diocletian’s Palace.

Dates are September 23 to Oct 3, 2020*. Late September is an excellent time to go, as tourist crowds have subsided, the water is still warm, the outdoors lovely, and the local culture lively.
The Price is $4900 pp, double occupancy, and includes:

 

  • All accommodations
  • All in-country transportation, on luxury coach
  • All breakfasts, some lunches and tastings, and occasional dinners
  • Tour guide and local guides (though generally not museum admissions, as
    not everybody wants to go to everything), plus 24-7 concierge assistance
  • All travel experiences on the itinerary – walking tours, gallery and winery visit(s), truffle hunt, performances, etc. –  other than optional activities
  • A tax deductible contribution of roughly $750 to WHAT
  • Flights can be arranged (fly from Boston/NY/Miami into Zagreb, return from Dubrovnik), and are estimated to cost $900-1000, US, RT. We are investigating charter options
