Script Submissions
WHAT seeks theatrically adventurous scripts in a variety of styles. We prefer scripts that take on important issues and themes with relevance to the lives of our audiences. WHAT accepts agent submissions and professional recommendations. (Include return postage.) If no agent, submit via email the first 10 pages of your play, and a one-page cover letter containing a brief synopsis, cast size, and the playwright’s background. Cast size should be six or less. Because of the volume of submissions, we cannot ensure a response to unsolicited scripts.
